Frequently asked questions

You can gain access to the sample library by signing up for a monthly sample library subscription. This allows you to download samples from any vendor within our library using our credit system. Credits will be added to your account monthly and will accumulate on your account. You can cancel your subscription at any time and your credits will remain on the account. If you are not signed up to the sample library but want to try it out, you can still access a limited selection of free samples without the need for any subscription or payment details. when you are ready to sign up for a subscription you can do so from the sample library pricing page.

We focus on connecting you directly to the people supplying the samples such as vocalists, producers and session musicians. We do this to make it easy for you to network and have a direct line of communication with the artists for requesting custom vocals, services or further work.

Yes, anyone can sign up to become a vendor and start selling on the platform. A Stripe account is required to receive payments.

All content in our sample library (packs and samples) is royalty free. For tracks, services and jobs listed on the site, there are two common payment models: 1. Work for hire - A single upfront payment with no ongoing royalty obligations 2. Royalty agreements - The artist retains some rights and receives ongoing royalties for commercial usage The payment model will always be clearly displayed in the listing, agreement and your order details. Royalty agreements are offered to ensure fair compensation when the work may generate significant commercial revenue. This helps protect both you and the artist. Visit our licensing page to learn more about the different payment models.

Artists list their skillsets that they are available to hire for as services, such as vocalists singing choruses hooks or toplines. Custom services are very similar to services, but are used when you are in talks with an artist (or vice versa) over providing a service but you need a customised offer to meet your specification that they haven't already have listed. Finally jobs are used for you as a user to post a job you need doing with a set criteria and budget. This could be in the form of a simple 'work for hire', a collaboration that may or may not have royalties up for grabs, or a competition. Artists can then send you offers for the job, or entry submissions in the case of a competition.
