The sample library is curated entirely by our ever growing network of artists, vocalists, producers and session musicians. Our artists upload their collections of royalty free samples as sample packs, we do some quality assurance on these and then make them available to you in the sample library. Our artists get paid each time you download one of their samples, and we give you a gentle push in their direction to check out the rest of their work such as their direct tracks and services. If you like the sound of a particular artist, pack or sample, we also make it very easy for you to reach out to them if you have a request for something custom.

Whilst all users have free access to a limited selection of promotional samples within the sample library. The sample library is not free, you must subscribe to one of our sample library subscription packages to access the full library and all of its features. Packs are sets of samples uploaded by our artists to the sample library. You can download individual samples or the full packs from within the sample library. You can also find an artists packs from their profile page. All packs and samples are royalty-free, meaning that you can use them within your productions without having any issues with copyright, royalty payments or any extra fees aside from your monthly sample library subscription. The only thing you cannot do is re-sell the samples or publish them as they are, they are licensed to you to be used within your own projects.

We collect as much data about our artists as possible to enhance the browsing process. We understand that as a user of the platform, sometimes your needs are extremely specific. So we wanted to give you the scope to search as far and wide or laser focused as you need. Artists are not obligated to fill in all this information, however we recommend they do if they want to benefit from maximum exposure to our users. With silver subscription memberships and above, we allow a slighter finer grain of search and filtering by allowing you to search for things like artist traits or specific tags, words and lyrics within our tracks, packs and samples.

We rank our artists on feedback received through sales, downloads and services. Within the sample library, artists with high quality content that are active in the sample library (E.G. artists that regularly contribute to the library) will be prioritised over artists that contribute less or with less value in terms of the quality of their work. If you are ranking highly in our sample library you can expect to be featured throughout other areas of the platform as well as seeing a stronger flow of users visiting your profile and purchasing your direct tracks and services. Artists that have pro membership will have priority over non-members, however we want to stress that the most important metrics we rank by will always be the quality, recency and relevance of an artists work.

When a subscription to the sample library is cancelled we will stop taking further payments and automatically cancel your subscription at the end of the billing period. after cancellation all contacts and credits stay on your account.

When you download samples from our royalty-free sample library, you are licensed the music, allowing you to use the included samples in your music without having to pay any additional royalty fees. These sounds are now free for you to use in any personal or commercial project, meaning you are free to use them for music you produce and sign, film projects, tv and anything else you can think of, as long as you aren’t re-selling or re-distributing the samples in isolation.

You pay for a monthly subscription to the sample library. Each month, depending on what tier you are on, we will credit your account with the appropriate amount of credits. These credits can be used to download any samples from within the sample library. Subscription revenue is paid out to all of our artists on a monthly basis depending on how many downloads they have accrued in that period.

This feature allows sample library users to get samples for free without spending any credits. Vendors that opt in to the 'pay with social like' feature allow you to download any of their samples in the sample library for free in return for liking or subscribing to their social media or connected accounts. Currently we have this integrated with Spotify and Soundcloud and are working hard to integrate other social media platforms and connected accounts to this feature. We keep track of all social interactions, so once you have liked all of a specific vendors social platforms you will no longer be able to use this feature and you will continue to use your credits as normal. This feature is available for any pro vendor that has opted in to using it, so there are plenty of opportunities to collect samples whilst saving your credits.

Contact requests are set on your account on a monthly basis. The amount of requests depends on your subscription package. Contact requests are required for you to be able to make contact with an artist for any custom requests. This is to prevent our artists from being spammed with requests by users that have no intent of making a purchase, and also ensures that you get a prompt response when you do reach out to our artists.

All samples are created and uploaded by the artists.

Yes, all vocals and samples within the sample library are royalty free.

Yes, you are free to use all of the samples in the sample library in your productions.

No, because the samples are royalty free they are already cleared for you to use within your own music without the requirement to pay anyone any fees or royalties. The only cost to you for using the sample library is the monthly subscription fee.

Yes, we have a “Pay With Social Like” system that allows you to download samples in exchange for liking or subscribing to the artists socials and connected accounts rather than spending credits. You have to be subscribed to the sample library to use this function and its only applicable for vendors that opt in to use it. Currently we have integrated Spotify and we are working hard to add other social platforms and connected accounts to this feature.

Your credits are yours to spend or save. Any unspent credits will always roll over each month and accrue on your account. Even if you decide to cancel your subscription your credits will remain on your account and be available for when you decide to join us again.

If you cancel you will stop being charged immediately, your access to the sample library will be removed at the end of the monthly billing period. You are free to use any remaining credits within that time, and if you have any leftover, they will remain on your account for when you re-subscribe.

The search and filter system allows you to search in a more fine-tuned way. As well as allowing you to search tracks, packs and samples by their attributes, in the case of vocals you can also search by the artists attributes as well as having the ability to search for specific lyrics, words or phrases.

The Camelot key system is an adapted version of the diatonic key system used by DJs to aid in readability and harmonic mixing. When we analyze tracks and samples we include the information for both key systems as we have found the Camelot system a useful way to quickly find and audition samples to see if they fit harmonically into a production or remix project.

You can request custom vocals from any vocalist who is active on the site. Their profile page will display a ‘request custom vocals’ button as well as any of their tracks, packs or samples.

Yes. You can use Vour royalty free samples in any project or composition.

If you are signed up to our sample library you can get additional samples for free from some artists without the need to spend any of your credits. This is possible through our ‘Social Like’ system, whereby you can like or follow an artist on their connected accounts such as Spotify or social media in return for downloading the sample for free.
